To Have and to Hate is another spectacular R.S. Grey book. After reading all of her books, this is definitely in my top 3 favorites.At rhe beginning of this book, I couldn't tell which way the story was going to go and I haven't read another book that kept me on my toes in a long time and I loved that. Elizabeth deserves the world after what she had to sacrifice to get married to Walt and how much her family has put her through. I can't imagine having a career where you're whole family isn't supportive and loving no matter your differences but I loved how Elizabeth took it all in stride. As one of the characters said you can't help but adore Elizabeth and that's exactly how I felt while reading this book.Walt brought different feelings out of me because I always feel pity for the characters that feel the need to work 24/7 but I love watching characters like Elizabeth show them how to live happily. As Elizabeth and Walt stay and develop their marriage into different types their relationship balanced out perfectly. Walt accepted Elizabeth for who she is and didn't try to change her even as she made many mistakes.The slow burn in this book made the wait that much better. Elizabeth and Walt's steamy scenes were off the charts! Can I just preface this by saying, I was grinning even as I just started this book? It was so unbelievably sweet, even when Walt was being an absolute annoyance. I loved how simplistic it was. Everything about the relationship was organic, different and sooo good. I'm not a fan so steamy scenes, but idk this one was done in such a way that it feel more sweet than steamy to me (maybe that's just me) but everything was crafted so well. When I was at the last chapter I was waiting for the mention of the ringThen it was tied together with a sweet little bow on top. Full disclosure, I'd read an entire second book on Elizabeth and Walt. Are they going to the beach? I'd read it. Are they fighting crime? I'd read it. They could be painting the great room and watching it dry and I'd STILL read it. I love when I devour a book just as much as I like to savor them. This was like taking greedy gulps of it, then realizing that stopping isn't as easy as you imagined. So immediately after writing this review, I'll be rereading this book until R.S answers my beckons for another book.
